Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Is there anyone that has confidence in Jack's memo?

Is it just a another tool to calm the employees? I want to be hopeful, but co-workers are telling me that even IF a buy out happens, that does not mean it secures positions. Nor does it mean we are rid of the AG and all those issues. It follows us like a bad rash

078 - Jack has nothing to say about what happens to employees after the campuses are sold (if that happens.... Once campuses are sold, they are no longer his employees. He can't assure what some other comapny will or will not do.

To the OP, does Jack(ass) say ANYTHING about you still having your job when the campuses are sold. The answer is NO. He doesn't give a rat's ass about your job.

It's really sad to see the fools jump up and down about software being sold. I am sure the CFPB will drop the predatory lending charges...without getting any kind of final judgement..for the thousands of people who were defrauded by CCI. Rest assured, despite your fantasy, all the issues aren't going away.

The pending lawsuits and liabilities speak volumes...think and believe what you will.

Nobody has confidence in Jack! Dude ruined this company with his incompetence. That being said, as long as you're not in a regional on up position you should be thrilled that you survived and excited that the sale is about to be finalized. Put your game face back on and start rebuilding. If you need any help rebuilding your new non profit college don't ask the Oakland Raiders because they've been rebuilding since 2001 and stink at it.

I do not consider restoration back to 100% a raise.

It doesn't mean anything for the Everest, Wyotech, and Heald portions of the memo, but it looks like Quickstart has been removed from the CCI website. It used to be on the list of schools (cci.edu/schools), but now it's gone.

“we expect our cash flows to improve in October and, as promised, will restore the 10 percent pay reduction effective October 12”… They expect case flow to improve? But how is it? Basically, it reads “If our cash flows improve in October, our promise to restore 10% pay will happen”. As for Quickstart intelligence, why is there no news on the web about this sale that happened over the weekend? Was it that small of a sale that it’s not hitting the internet?

I'm just glad we're most likely going to get the 10% back. Unless.. something else happens.

Campuses at Everest, Wyotech and Heald are not looking good. They are starting over in regard to companies to buy us. We are back to square one I have been told. But to be completely settled by mid November? Unlikely.

I do but I am in Socle IT. I could see HR, finance, marketing, etc being restructured. They have a group already but I doubt they can handle the workload. I doubt they have any staff for the schools.
