Who kept posting that there is now sale? Come on! Where is Camden Kid, who posted every day that there is no buyer? Where are all the bitter fired or laid off disgruntled former employees that insisted that nobody would be interested in buying anything owned and operated by CCI? Where has all the negativity gone? I want to hear from the next know it all who still thinks Everest won't be bought? Come on out of the trash can dude. Where ya at?

004, 028, 077 (probably all the same poster): Your command of logic is stunning. Clearly the rest of us are poorly equiped to deal with your factual, insightful and well-reasoned observations. I hope this all works out for you. Thanks for sharing.
Anonymous42081 -- I know, right??? I guess 42077 is on her plane now, sleeping. The hardest part of the day is over! I remember in the old days some people insisted on taking whole travel days, which was frowned on but tolerated. It's probably not the best idea now, and I know that a lot of CSC managers watch this board. "Hmmm, who is taking a whole work day to travel home?" I can also tell from 42077's tone and grammar that we're not dealing with a high level employee. You're tempting fate, 42077!
42077: Wow, bitter much? You have a serious chip on your shoulder and really need to get help. Pretty much everyone on this board works and has a job (such as manager) that allows them to check personal email or websites of interest throughout the day. And where the hell are you flying from/to that you have a flight at the crack of dawn Friday? If you're CCi and in Santa Ana going home to the East Coast, you would take the red eye Friday night, AFTER a day of work. Anything else is very late afternoon, including for execs. I'm guessing you're not with our company, so why do you even come here?
075 I'm up at the crack of dawn getting ready to catch my flight home from WORk. Enjoy sleeping in til 11am lazy slob
004, what are you doing all day? Not working.
I make six figures and check in here as well. It's an often annoying and weird board but I'm concerned about anyone still there. Well, some people. I've hired a couple of ex-employees, but there's a significant list that I'll make sure my new company doesn't consider. CCi had some real doozies, especially in management. Some great folks too.
Sick of assholes on this post . . .
I made $275K last year and I still read this board. There is nothing wrong in that. Let a thousand flowers bloom.
Only the truest of the CCI fraudsters think their job is secure.
Is anyone even paying attention to the legal issues and liabilities that are upon us? Do we make enough in revenue to cover a worst case civil liability ruling in favor of the Feds? Is someone really going to purchase us with all of that hanging over our heads? No doom and gloom, just looking at all sides of where we are. I want to stay since I have been here for 10 years and think I do a decent and ethical job. Not all of us are RATS!
028...undermedicated
That is right. Who is the first off the sinking ship THE RATS.. Too bad the dedicated employees are saving the ship after the rats have jumped into the ocean HAHAHA Stand by loyal people you WILL be REWARDED.. Good luck with the mac and cheese while sitting on your childhood piss stained mattress at mommies house trolls HAHAHA
Omg this rant seriously makes me laugh. You think that somehow you've "shown" everyone that you were right just because Quickstart was bought??? Some software that has no placement rate violations or fraud or deception. It's SOFTWARE dude, nothing more. Not a school. The sale of some software brought in some much needed cash for CCi to make payroll, but they have yet to sell any substantial brand, such as Everest.
Well Grand Canyon was not for profit until they were bought, but that is splitting hairs. How is a debt collector qualified to run it? Easy, they keep most of the staff on board. Don't forget it won't be CCI making any of the financial decisions once we are bought.
Grand Canyon Univ is a for profit
Blahaha! If you had another job, you wouldn't be posting on this site. I call bs in the 95k job. You're still in the unemployment line, living in tomato soup and crackers
995 - You are right. I miss my job at Everest, much the same way I miss high mortgage loan rates, the war in Iraq and acne. The new 95K job at a respected company just doesnt compare in terms of anxiety, guilt and frustration. No fun wt all. You may want to tone down the gloating a bit until there is something to celebrate. Best case scenario, that is at least 90 days after any sale when layoffs are announced by the acquiring company. Good luck to you - your internet badass persona suggests you will need it.
SOCLE will process the loans
They will secure major donators like The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Warren Buffet, who will set on the Board of Directors, write off the donations and assist in reforming the Career Technical College industry
How is a debt collector qualified to be running schools, for-profit or not?
They will rebrand, operate, compete as a non profit college like Southern New Hampshire Univ, Grand Canyon Univ, Western Governors Univ.
If ECMC, a debt collector, buys them, would it ever be allowed to operate them as schools or just oversee a teach-out and process the loans?
Yeah you miss your job! Enjoy that tomato soup, crackers and crow pie cuz you're gonna be eating it for the next 12 months while you're on unemployment
Who bought Everest? Who bought WyoTech? Who bought Heald? Did I miss something?
