Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Term all Regionall and Divisional VPs

This would buy the real workers - THE CAMPUSES- some breathing room. Let each CP run the show at the local level answering only to the few remaining at CSC. The Regionals and Divisionals are only causing more dissention and trouble with their busy work, calls and emails to try and justify their ridiculous salaries...while real people get cuts, no bonuses, furloughed and so forth..

This is the only edu company I have ever seen with that has such a top/middle heavy needless structure. ECMC or whomever would do well to press for this before the ink goes to paper

The CPs need to be evaluated as well. Some of them shouldn't even be CPs. The regionals are messy. They are definitely trying to show that they have purpose by visiting the campus. They come in saying they are here to support but then vanish not saying where they are setting up for the day. They don't even bother making 1:1 with staff or doing group temperature checks. Hopefully ECMC is smart enough to give these folks all an exit contract and hire folks accustomed with non profit schools.

YOu've never worked for ITT Tech. I've worked for both ITT and CCI, and they are more similar than different (which explains why the CFPB is going after both for similiar reasons).

Could not agree more. All they do is sit in on meetings and conference calls all day. What a huge waste of money.

Not just the VPs but also the regional and divisional directors.... Admissions, career services, etc.... Useless at this point. My Regional CS does nothing. She just makes up a ton of unsustainable games that she thinks will help us.
