Given CCIs legal hassles and criminal probes, along with ED problems, no reputable organization will be caught dead being seriously mentioned as buying such a pos. Watching all of you jerk off to a fantasy that you will keep your jobs would be funny, except that you are all under the false hope that keeping your job is a option. Now, be adults and ask yourselves the tough questions: 1. What experience does ECMC have in operating a college? 2. What business plan is in place to make it work? 3. How is ECMC going to pay all the accumulated liabilities of CCI, much less pay for CCI? 4. How is ECMC going to defend themselves from CCIs legal and criminal issues (sorry losers, those won't go away.). 5. Sadly, people here think a non college can be a college if it just buys a college. Sadly, in the real world, that can't happen. So, how is ECMC going to get accreditation (and, sorry, a non college does not just get to buy it.) time to wake up from the fantasy, your asses are fired, some sooner then later.

Except wapo is not a subprime collections agency...ecmc is. Comparing apples to tuna.
Actually, as long as the sale is approved, a non-college can buy a college and keep the accreditation. Happens all the time. Eg Washington Post.
Now, be an adult and ask yourself this tough question: WHY DO YOU CARE?
Thank you for stating this. It's so unlikely that ECMC would, could or should buy all or pieces of this. Nor would the external transaction monitor allow it.
