Tampa trades program in shambles

The trades program at Everest Tampa is a train wreck that is only getting worse. Despite that they are down to just two full time instructors and an occasional sub at night, the campus leadership is still scheduling the three classes in the morning and three at night. They are requiring one of the instructors to teach two different classes at the same time. What a blatant disregard of academic ethics, accreditation requirements, and a serious case of fraud. The right thing to do is to cancel the classes until an instructor can be placed in the class- not just act like everything is just fine and a temporary setback. Every student has a claim for a refund and should be storming the offices demanding their money back.

Electrician is not linear. It has always been modular at Tampa. What do you mean it's linear?

Many COCO colleges in Florida are way behind in their lease payments. Look for landlords to put locks on the doors soon

The HVAC is modular, so that wouldn't ever be a problem in terms of an instructor. The quarter credit linear electrician program is a big problem, as is the case at many of the other linear Everest campuses. Tampa was lucky in that most of the programs have been switched over to modular. CCi makes the campus sound so nice, "Tracing its roots to 1890, Everest University-Tampa can rightfully claim to be the oldest, continuously operating business college in the State of Florida. Our modern labs and classrooms offer all the modern amenities for the 21st century student." But it does have a Vet disclosure: http://www.everest.edu/florida_campus_disclosure

Actually it is just the electrician program. The HVAC program is still OK.
