The problem is that there is no way to confirm nor deny any of this. Until an 8K is filed, I'm going to consider the rumors to be pacifiers to keep everyone from worrying about their next payday.

154- only a handful of people at CCi really know what is going on with buyers and they have signed non disclosures which is why you and the other 11K+ employees don't know any details. That's just they way it is. So while there are potential buyers in negotiations right now, we have no idea what they are in negotiations for. And we have no idea what the impact will be on employees. That's why we must all be smart and make sure we are taking charge over our own fate - whether that's looking for another job, or accepting that if you stick it out until the end that you may become suddenly jobless. Whatever floats your boat - but make no assumptions about your future at CCi. Instead, make a plan.
Someone looking at a campus is mikes away from buying CCI. So to say 'buyers are coming' is just untrue anyway. There might be interest but until and unless accreditors and DE is in agreement, it's hard to believe any if it. These posters don't sound like actual employees to me. Except dropping a name if a buyer, there is NO other information. Not the college, not the campus. And nobody internally is verifying it.
One way to know is that, first of all, there are no specific campuses or schools mentioned. And no other employees verify. So one person saying they are coming to CA is likely just a lie. Nobody on the ground will get much info anyway. There are non disclosures and privacy agreements. Sales of businesses are not public knowledge until much further along in the process. And it won't happen in a week. So, it's all just lies in my opinion . I haven't heard a single rumor about a buyer. I'm an employee, FYI. You'd think that would get around and we would see posts with actual information.
There are NO buyers, so if you plan on our next check to be your last, you are planning correctly.
