Is everyone else tired of application count up? If it were sales job yes I can see but we are supposed to be recruiting students that succeed they are not a number.
We should have a cancel count up to of who cancels students all the time.

Apparently not this "guy" below this comment! Wowza!!!
who are the few? enlighted us.....
The online divion feels the need to recognize Admission representatives for enrolling students. Each day there is a count up of applications taken. It's pathetic. The other workers are basically saying there should be a cancel count up too because a lot of applications at least 1 out of 3 will stay and start and the other two will typically get canceled. Guess you thought your admissions representative cared about you.... Well they could have... if you got one of the few that actually care about the student. Let's be honest those are few and far in between.
what is a count up? staff leaves these post like others are suppose to know what they mean.
Keep dreaming. That job has always been a pure sales job at EDMC. Non-profit schools of that size usually only have 1 or 2 people per campus not a whole team or entire department. Student Success? Really? You bought that line? Call it what it really is, You Are Sales People They Are Customers (or suckers depending on how you look at it).
Could not agree more. So many ARs get off on seeing their name on the count-up. When in reality, this job SHOULD be about helping and doing right by the students. They keep preaching "student success" but until that count-up is scrapped, it's still an app taker's game.
