Right now it would seem CCI has all the cards and the employees have none to play. Employes are getting a shaft daily as of late. We all know that CCI done, just has not laid down yet. So, CCI is counting on employees to be onsite to staff different departments for coverage.........take a sick day or two. CCI policy states three or more days you need a doctors note to get back to work. So take only one or two days at a time. If enough people do this, they will not have coverage at the schools. No coverage = to bad. I will not have a job next month anyway. This way, you can stick it to CCI, at least a little bit.

By taking sick days you're putting the shaft to your coworkers more than the company.
I am waiting for the strike organizers to let me know where to picket. Hopefully it is close to the unemployment office.....
Great idea. I'm sure everyone will jump on board with that. Remember when someone was trying to stage a fake protest, get everyone to show up, and nobody (not even the supposed organizers) did it? Yeah. That's how well this will go over.
Read the policy. It's not 3 days
That's the most juvenile response I've seen yet.
Why don't people spend their time wisely by looking for a job, instead of trying to find ways to screw a company that does not care about it's employees?
Whatever.
Honestly I don't know why they don't just select different days to close over the two-week period. Monday and Tuesday of both weeks, plus Friday the second week, for example.
I have already been doing that.
