I'm in a hiring position at a competitor now. I've been avoiding mentioning my CCi past these past three months, but have hired several ex-employees. Not this time. It's been made clear we're avoiding CCi applicants. This only applies to management positions, like the one I'm looking for now. I doubt we'd have any issue with lower level employees who can demonstrate knowledge in their career areas. If you're manager or above, I'd suggest concentrating your search outside of the career ed field. Everyone is spooked about CCi and will probably not even seriously consider hiring you. If you get through a couple of interviews that go well, and suddenly they lose interest, you'll know I'm correct. What will have happened is your resume advancing as you interview, and getting shot down from someone not wanting to let CCi management in.
