Higher ups resign - looks better on a resume...but they are leaving - call it what you want - resign or be fired - send a goodbye good luck email to your friends and save face I suppose. I may be gone soon, just have some last reports to complete then I'm sure I'll get to make my choice. I'll take the pay for now, they have been generous for the last 8 years.

Who would list CCI on a résumé? That's nuts. You'd be better off saying you were incarcerated for molesting squirrels.
