Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Did board hijacker really get let go?

I haven't seen that person here in a while. Now I guess his moniker just describes the events of his day...bored,high,jacking.

Socle is shutting down as in cancelling the new clients, there were 5 or 6 that we were currently on boarding for go live in Feb 2015. Socle is working with the current clients on ending the contracts. If you ask me that is pretty crappy move to do to a business/school.

Socle people were/are moving to ECMC. I only know a few because I worked directly with them.

Canada is going through and I forgot the name, it is three letters. Some of the CCI employees will be moving with the sale and were contacted via e-mail. Heald and the California schools are in a weird way. Part of the purchase has ECMC and CCI putting in money in escrow for legal costs and if CCI settles they still own the CA schools and Heald. I believe the CA schools and Heald are/were the most profitable.

Board Hijacker--I'm almost afraid to ask. Any Heald news? Are any of the buyers actually still interested, or is it over?

Hey Board, are any Socle employees moving over to ECMC? Also, you said that Socle "was" shutting down. Can you elaborate?

This is the real Board Hijacker. I was not walked out, been real busy the last couple of weeks. The only news I have to share is that 1/5/2015 is the official cut over for employees that are for a lack of better word, transferred, to ECMC. CCI will still exist after 1/5/2015 for how long is anyone guess. There will still be people on the CCI side but a little bird told me that once "we" move over to ECMC the less "we" will be involved in CCI matters. Oh and Socle was deemed too expensive to run under the CCI umbrella once ECMC takes over. That is the main reason Socle was shutting down, not enough money coming in to keep it going and ECMC didn't want it. There were some other reasons, like ECMC playing hardball with potential investors. Something along the lines that they wanted the team that built and ran Socle (IT portion and Business) but ECMC wouldn't go for that. That may be a rumor, I am not sure. I think it was money

I am alive and kicking. Nothing new to add though, everything I've said so far turned into actual invents, I'll do my best to continue to contribute according to the same posting quality standards. As of right now, I have nothing to say.
