Corinthian now in trouble with NASDAQ! Further Investigations!

Corinthian Colleges Inc (NASDAQ:COCO) has received a letter from The NASDAQ Stock Market notifying the Company that it is not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250. The Rule requires timely filing of reports with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”). It is actually more complicated hten just filing late or cooking their books. The external auditors never finished the year end financial/SOX audit and left for non-payment. CCI needs an accoutning firm to validate their financials and it is a long process to chnage public accounting firms; especially since the word is out to stay clear of CCI for not only lack of payments but also for their fradulant activities.

They are looking as to why the late filings. Usually that means a company is trying to fix their numbers so they don't look as bad to shareholders.
