Sale announcement expected officially in November, I doubt they would change that on a whim. Extent of sales remains unknown. My guess around 30. Plus any other deals they may be working on in the time left. Judging from the reaction to BofA announcement, market reaction could be significant. Expect more imaginary posts.

565 Trust me, there was news and stock gained +30% several days in a row. Many people doubled or tripled their investment in a week. That counts as a corporate event of significance, even if you failed to witness it.

Perhaps you were looking for spot on accuracy as to when the news was announced in relation to when that poster wrote that post. You're taking the layoff posts a little too literally and expecting time frames to be a little too exact.

There was news, and the stock market gained 300%. Unfortunately that does not benefit employees, but still counts as "news".
