Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

WASC won't just allow a new purchaser to take over with WASC accreditation. WASC told prospective purchasers a MAJOR investment is needed.

@46556. You don't know what you are talking about. WASC can and probably will pull Heald the accreditation. FWIW, Heald has a site review coming up and is going to fail it.

This post is almost comical in its misunderstanding of WASC's processes. Unless the original poster can tie the directive to a WASC standard, eligibility criteria, or policy, WASC will not have an opinion on the topic.

With the current state of affairs, regional accreditors are being very selective with who they want to have the accreditation...not saying the OP is accurate, but it may make sense.
