We hit a small snag with the CFPB. The deal is not in jeopardy at this time. I apologize that the announcement did not go as planned. I'll will update again when I have more information/ final word. I am not a troll and not trying to give any false information; I truly want people to have truth.

Weekend is almost over and no 8K, no announcement, no nothing. Another lie spread to further disappoint the lives of so many affected by this tragedy. Thank you so much Dick, Arne, and Kamala for ruining so many people's lives.

The OP has too many things correct to be a troll. I believe the announcement is coming soon but not before the end of the month. Of course the buyers could still back out. There has to be something that's holding things up. It could be the ACCSC accreditation warning that has to be cleaned up first.

CSC poster has just about everything right ... he/she is on the right page. There will not be an 8k this weekend. I think he/she jumped the gun a bit on that one. Strong possibility that a deal will be finalized this weekend. Hang in there folks ... this is going to work out fine.

Will we have furloughs and layoffs again? If so, for how long for the furloughs? Will they be in November or December? How many layoffs are expected?

No date set in stone yet but trying to close before mid December when money dries up. Similar time to last quarter furloughs. I expect close by December 1 but nothing is firm.

@CSC. I too, believe your post and was wondering if you're privelaged to any info regarding timelines of this transition to take place?; etc. When you say the DOE is seeking to expedite, do you feel we could see this happen within the month or more towards the end of the year? Rumors have been swirling or more December furloughs if this was to drag out until the end of the Year.

This might seem silly, but I believe the OP ...mainly because he knew what was happening with parking spaces at CSC in a previous post weeks ago. Small overlooked detail that adds credibility.

Good news for those Everest campuses that ECMC purchased. Bad news for the campuses that aren't. Shouldn't see major changes in current campus positions. Hopefully, the salaries will be close to what is current. Non profit? That's would be terrific.

How PeopleSoft does the conversion from one company to another company, terminate from one and hired into the new company. I have not heard about offer letters but seniority is bring honored.

They are not buying Canada or Heald. In fact Canada is being sold, they have a buyer but no infrastructure so we will be servicing. All of Everest and Wyotech including socle are being bought. If you were at CSC you could have seen all the suits this morning. BTW there is a PeopleSoft consultant company handling the conversion of employees.
