People reading this board do realize that the postings that have been promising an ECMC purchase of campuses are by people who bought CCI stock low and are trying to artificially create a rise in the stock value so they'll benefit, right? I really hope people see through this ploy.

699 Most posts are disagreeing with the OP. I posted 3 of the comments. I'm not sure if profiling comments is the best hobby for you. I am 653, 659 and 660. As 659 I was disagreeing with 655. As 660 I was just making a general statement. Other people are 655 who was disagreeing with 652. 655 is possibly the OP. :)

You are focusing on one individual when there happen to be more than one with detectable patterns here. A penny stocker would probably make out better if the info was actually true. The market isn't exactly enthusiastic over rumors. One must also consider that it's not all about the stock market here. The lives of 10,000 employees are affected daily by this and deserve to know whats happening. Not everyone in 10,000 will be as self centered and cold-hearted as you assume the world to be.
Why assume that the Penny Stocker doesn't already work at CCI? All this "ECMC is buying a couple dozen campuses" is probably just one person. There have been several times when I could tell the same person was posting replies to their own post. He or she also spews venom at anyone who posts logical information about there not being a sale.
Things have to happen in the real world in order to validate the posts here. Although some may make false statements for their own personal gain, your claim that everyone will always do this is in itself an unverifiable statement.
I Agree for the most part, but there are scattered details of truth that these Penny Stockers wouldn't know. You have to be able to sift through the loads of trash to find on here.
CCI will be sold to someone, who , nobody really knows, when , anybody can guess....... The government will not allow it to just fail, they will be on the hook for the student loans
