Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Posts, Upon Posts, Upon Posts of Gibberish - Not One Valuable Piece of Information on This Site

CCi management has kept everyone in the dark, and continues to do so. Failure to be transparent has cost everyone everything. Even now, they continue to disappoint, covering their actions, the facts, with every last breath, causing irreparable emotional distress to everyone involved.

325 has it right. Take charge of your own life. CCi doesn't really care about you. Stop hitching your success to CCi's success. In addition, CCi is a publicly held company so NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING will be told to us or anyone else before the deal is sign, sealed and delivered. That's the way the laws are written. Jack(ass) couldn't say anything, even if he wanted to (and he doesn't)

If you moved in the why are you still here? What pearls of wisdom are you going to spout when the sale is announced? Move on

Yeah, the instructors are the root of all evil at CCi. Hey wait....who hired them and kept "refining" instructor responsibilities? Oh, right, CCi.

Exactly what 325 said. I come to check this board once in awhile. I was offered classes (instructor) this term. I turned it down. I did get a job at a non profit. It pays more and has 2 departments I can teach with, rather than just a few classes. Getting out was the best thing I ever did. I hated teaching there so much. But when Jenkins blamed us for student failure, I knew that there was no respect.

OP, I disagree. Although you must sift through the BS here, there is useful information and observation on this site. 325 has it right - take control of what you read and use the indicators (real news) to get your brain around the reality that CCi is cooked. It actually feels good to move on - I mean, really, you are dealing with uncertainty whether you stay or you go.

OP: I suspect that you have never worked for a public company that was involved in sale/merger/aquisition discussions. We will find out when the investment community finds out, and not before. The nature of sale negotiations (if, in fact that is going on) demands a lack of transparency to successfully complete the process. Understanding that no news is frustrating, what would you expect to hear before the process concludes? Also - at the risk of earning the dreaded "bully" tag - don't allow yourself be a victim. Take control and create alternatives. Many of us are evidence that there is life (GOOD life) after CCI.

So what's your point? You're telling us things we already know.
