How could CCi possibly teach out all its remaining schools starting in January 2015?

They won't combine unlike programs, unlike accreditation, or unlike residency, unless they are granted a variance by the state/feds.
"They'll consolidate schools if there are more than 1 in a city." This cannot be done without many different approvals. For example, CCi has four schools in the Portland, Oregon area. The programs and accreditation is different between the schools, and the campuses are in two different states (3-1). So would Heald combine into Everest College, or the other way around?
Yep, teach outs are expensive and the CCi must conduct them in a compliant manner. Generally accepted shortcut incentives will no longer be paid.
It won't. They'll consolidate schools if there are more than 1 in a city. And they will try to get other for profits to allow transfers. And they won't keep most staff. I've been in a teach out. Schools will keep CP and a Dean or 2, only instructors teaching current classes, an FA specialist or 2, security and maybe someone to answer phones. That is all. Everyone else is fired immediately. Sorry if you though they'd keep full staffing.
