Question: Was someone higher up just let go recently within the last week or 2? If so....who?

58835- I think that poster meant that other high executives were not warned - National Directors, Managing Directors were not given any notice. Remember... This was a "resignation" not a layoff

@8797.....which post are you referring to? I posted 8767 and I clearly stated that no warning was given

No advance warning was given. I should know. You show your ignorance by spouting what is not true.

This is how they treat the workers vs. the high level management people. When you're high level you get advance warning you are getting terminated to give you a chance to find another job and to mentally prepare for it. You also get a golden parachute. When you are just a mere worker....the ones who are in the trenches 5 days a week, working with the students, keeping the school running and customers happy what do we get? We get no notice whatsoever and if you're lucky a 1 week pay.....THAT'S IT! This is how they show their appreciation for our hard work and dedication. You get blindsided called into the conference room to be told your services are no longer needed. So lets not forget who we work for. Lets not forget to look out for our OWN self interest. If you think this company will look out for you. Will support you 100% then you are a fool or you just don't know any better.

Probably terminated. He has til the end of March. If he had another job, I don't think he would have given them such a late start date. It's SAE's way of giving him advance notice to start his search. Kinda like a reverse severance I guess. Though he probably is getting something for when he leaves too.

Did he really resign or was he terminated but we're all given the impression he resigned to save face?

We are hopeful. The COO/ CFO seemed nice for the one time he came to our campus. But I agree with the person who wrote about his understanding of his responsibility. He is. Responsible for sound decisions of the business, proper management of budget and growth, and profitability of the organization and thus, livelihoods of the employees. It was obvious that his agenda did not include the employees or were well thought out. His experience, or lack thereof, resulted in such a mess left behind. He's not the only one responsible. There were/ are so many at the high level who just outright did not do their jobs well. And it seems like the ones that did were either "resigned" by this management team or laid off by the very people who were not doing their jobs well.

That was the CEO. Poster is referring to COO, that Will guy. I wonder if he realizes that he had more authority and awareness over the budget and how it was being spent. I wonder if he realized that HE was responsible for many peoples jobs being lost. I have no sympathy for him. He just used SAE like a playground to experiment with.

The COO has "resigned". That's probably what the poster was implying
