I used to work for Deloitte, they do the same thing. The poster below is right. They want you in the network once you leave and they want to keep good relationship with you. If you leave you'll likely go somewhere where you can be useful to SLB as a buyer, you'll come and ask for services from SLB, so, it's in their best interest to have you close and be friendly with you. They do not care about anything else. It's just business, no hard feelings, nobody is forcing us to join the alumni club.

All service companies have alumnus wings. They hope you will go work for a client so they can cme back to you and sell more work
