Something to think about: IF you are part of a reduction in force (RIF), not only will you lose your employment, if you have a company vehicle, cell phone, computer, secure facility access,etc., all will be inaccessible to you IMMEDIATELY. If you have data on any company device that you don't want to lose - back it up NOW on a personal device (i.e. - flash drive). Then, delete any personal data from the devices, and clean up your vehicle of personal items - your one chance to this is BEFORE you are layed-off NOT after.

That is true in any occupation. When your job is gone they want everything returned and kill your job e-mail account ect. Not sure why Anonymous58932 says "Oh, really" almost in disbelief. Thats 20 something year olds attitudes who have never been there before and won't understand until it happens.
