This is the mindset employees need to take when looking for jobs. If someone else offers you more compensation. Remember while giving one week notice and hearing your employer cry about "but how will we fill this position....?" Not your problem, this is business....and the business community has taught some of us to wisen up and use their tactics over the past decade. It's very true, on the other hand, if you jump a lot its a big minus during the candidate selection, nobody wants a 'jumper'
