Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Kibsgaard can go to he11

I dare anyone to try and defend him and his $22M. Lot of other names I could mention. But while we're at it - who else would like to vent and name a SLB moron who can go to he11?

I nominate the President of Schlumberger in Latin America for writing off half a billion dollars in Venezuela due to a currency devaluation that was highlighted in the recent quarterly investors call. Thats about 6 years of profit for the company in Venezuela thrown out the window or look at is as the whole schlumberger organization in venezuela working for nothing during 6 years! How many heads could have been saved with half a billion dollars I wonder?

Clearly you don't have to be very clever to become a schlumberger manager - you just need to be able to f*** things up on a large scale and you can progress to a very high position in the company

I'll play. How about Oliver La-Puke. Little Napoleon wanna be. Clueless and created PG leadership that was likewise arrogant and clueless. He's a Segment President now, god help them because he will ruin them too.

I'll play. JF poo-poo. $600M and counting for the greatest turd of them all, wired drill pipe, yet I see he is still getting huge stock grants. You wonder what one of these C-suite guys has to do wrong to get fired. There is no common sense left at Slb.

Oh I'm sure he is totally worth the 22 milliion, they could save alot of jobs by downsizing his ludicrous salary.

22 million USD and the guy doesn't have the morality or decency to make some kind of compassionate gesture in times of difficulty for his employees. This is typical of the lack of real leadership in schlumberger management

This is the example the employees should look at.....dont listen to what they say but observe what they do and decide from there where your loyalty and efforts are best focused
