There are fewer Sears and Kmart stores in Northern California. The Eureka and McKinleyville, California stores are fighting for their lives. Management is a huge problem especially with store manager and assist managers. Its the most sexist place I've ever worked. There are a number of State and Federal Labor Law violations that the local Human Resources department and managers are in cahoots. They take advantage of people and enjoy singling men and getting rid of them. I would welcome a 3rd party organization to come in to audit these stores (IRS or Franchise Tax Board for example). I also invite the California Labor Board to investigate these stores for violations too. These stores do practice retaliation and the human resources department help cover it up. HELP!

Oh wow, I thought my location was isolated as the SGM has set up her "girls clic" including the HR manager. The regional HR who is a guy is a recluse, doesn't talk to anyone when and if in stores, and is an idiot in my opinion. Glad I am gone....whew.
