Done with it. If I get laid off I will not look back. Find a new job and keep living. Got my wife, got my kids, got my faith, got my health, got so much. You want to be uplifted, move on from here. Surround yourself with people the edify and build up not drag you into the pits.

I agree with the OP. Im thankful for the time Ive had, thankful for load of cash I made, and thankful for the friends I'm keeping no matter what happens. It was a good run but there is a world full of cool stuff to learn and there are plenty of ways to put food on the table. Although it might be a little harder to put 5th wheel and a speedboat in the backyard without big oil.
I still prefer to have my feelers out there and be aware of my situation. Good luck though.
I agree that it's depressing, but folks are scared, angry and don't know where else to turn for news. Half the info posted here is bs, but it's still better than no info. Everyone just needs to hang in there, brush up their resumes, and start making plans for the event that they are let go.
