I keep hearing that big changes are coming to FSS this year. Does anyone have any clues as to what is happening?

onefollett will remain and we will get bonus this year but the payout will be 50 %
Hopefully repealing onefollett so the areas that excel can get paid again.

Follett Software has done nothing but ride library automation. The push into classrooms has been a failure. The LMS has been a disaster. The digital eBook started off ok but has now become a mess.
I agree that putting sales people as product managers is a disaster. They have no clue and won't listen.
FSS was fine until sales people took over as product managers. Now quality is in the gutter and innovation is out the door. If I were MLS I'd fire all of the product managers and hire technical people with vision to fill their spot.
FSS was okay until corporate started making changes.
How has he been ineffective?

Why would you want Tom to go? He's a really nice guy. Probably the only thing he could have done better is get rid of the all of the product managers.
FSS got the new sales growth engine that is FVC
Maybe Tom is finally out!
