What I think. I think Halliburton and baker are so much in debt on land market and with it shutting down. The amount of money lost compared to what they both have invested. To be honest I think they are both broke. Not broke as in no money. Broke as in can't survive without joining forces to stay afloat. I also think baker purchasing bj services broke them. Baker has always been a company not to invest in things unless they would have a contract. Maybe we didn't get big like red paint or the other blue paint. But baker would remain strong. Now having bought bj at the time may have been good move but not much thought was put into it. I think baker didn't think of the amount of over head to run a pressure pumping company of that large of a scale. I truly believe if we didn't purchase bj. Baker would remain.
Hopefully the deal fails. Being a baker person and believe me I need my job but I would rather see baker shut the doors that get taken like this. Been an awesome company but soon time to move on.
