Thread regarding SAE Institute (formerly the School of Audio Engineering) layoffs

Group layoff

I can honestly say that I wouldn't mind seeing another layoff at the group level and high ups.... Those who have offices. This time, get it right.

No layoffs... But we are at least seeing resignations.

you won't see any layoffs considering that the higher ups troll this site on a daily basis. like the other person said it would then be giving into the mob if they were to layoff and it would bring even more confusion to an already crazy situation. the only thing they can do with those in high positions is get them on performance issues and fire them which will take months probably.

I feel you frustration. Just let Jo Anthonysz do his evaluation with the campuses and take it from there.

Many of wouldn't mind. But they are not going to do it. Anyone working at a corporate level understands that you can't give in to a "mob". Then corporate loses it's strength. Only on occasion would you a company either admit mistakes, or rehire some people back, or appear as if they gave in to the requests or terminating other people. It just puts corporate at a weaker position if they do this. Especially, terminating management. What you'll see are either resignations in the future. Or people who are "moved" into other positions that do not affect the company (and then they eventually leave).

I don't think they would call that a layoff, but a termination for performance issues
