I saw an announcement when 50 employees were moved from Ford to canopy, but no announcement when they failed to deliver. Was anybody laid off?

Nobody in “integrated services” even knows what an 8D is.
Don’t see it. Punishment overdue.
It should be in the global 8D system by now. If it isnt, the former managers of it should be disciplined of course. Ford does have processes for lessons learned you know.

FLV is back, as a contractor! The fact that he managed web site two updates in over a year tells you everything you need to know about his Ford Next and Canopy were run, and why Stern bailed to spin his wheels elsewhere.

It failed because 1) it was a bad idea 2) FLV rushed it to market to try to fake being a subscription company and 3) put someone in to run it that had zero qualifications to do so. There was never connectivity with ADT, as advertised, it didn’t work in vans, as advertised, and it cost more to do less than you can do with an inexpensive camera and your cellphone. It cost $200 million to refund money to every clueless person who actually paid for it. Yet nobody got fired, other than a couple of Hermes handbags.
They are still trying to figure out how to sell subscriptions to the door locks that work.
Most of them got promoted.
If any of these 50 employees had any intelligence, one of them would have invented door locks that keep intruders out.
It only failed because FLV was unjustly let go from the company.
