How are there zero details or information on Nikes severance offerings for these layoffs? Is it so bad that people are embarrassed to share? Most companies release details or there are numerous people sharing to the media at least some high level ranges and details. I get signing an NDA, but once you receive the package, wouldn't you at least share on an anonymous site?

If you really want to know details ask to be laid off, that is the best way to get info. Otherwise what business is of yours? If you stay, Nike appreciates all the boxes you as a Jv2 player fill.

If you are asking someone to share so you feel safe and in turn expecting they jeopardize their own situation, you are being short sighted and selfish.
My advice as someone who was laid off is to have 6-12 months living expenses in cash as a backup plan, especially in this market. severance can be helpful but you can never expect something in an at-will employment situation and it’s up to you to plan ahead financially for the worst. Nike isn’t required to give you anything beyond the 60 day notice from WARN.
Su-ks, and I know we are all in a sh---y situation but it is what it is. My friends who have told me not to tell them and not to jeopardize my situation are the real ones.

To plan for the future - To understand how long you'll have income coverage before needing a new job - To understand if people will get a pro-rated end of year bonus, or if you can expect expedited vesting of shares...
8wks of salary + 6mo of Cobra is vastly different than 8wks salary + added tenure severance + psp cash + expedited rsu vesting.
No need to be as a$$hat with the comments, 2020 layoff details don't equate to current 2024 severance. How about sharing a reference to details instead of calling people lazy as if they haven't already searched the internet for this stuff.
