I'm not raging and specifically addressing the individual who think making me go to an office two more days a week is "sticking it to the man"

You read way to into that but in general are not off base.

Four people across your entire region was laid off? We’ve lost more in attrition last year. Back in 2020, right before thanksgiving my region lost 20 plus all of the VWAs which puts the number significantly higher. I’d love to be in your shoes to only lose 4.

Talk about defensive! Can you see how divided the people are? There isn't a good and a bad side of this argument. We're all trapped in the sh-storm Crown leadership created and while they flounder, they play with your life and money and you're at the throats of other people who work and contribute every day. They laid off 4 people across my region last year and decided not to backfill, instead to pile it on people like me without a raise or say in this. Yes, I will be exiting. They are treating us like trash. My story isn't unique. We're all feeling it and it's crushing.

Your rage is misplaced, you blame the flock for being eaten and dying while the farmers sit on their ar-e and collect money. Nobody is leading, they're collecting dollars while Elliott is ready to bring down the hatchet. Discourse is suppressed and people get in trouble for looking at someone funny. Slightest hint of dissidence and they smell blood.

In normal companies, people aren't fighting each other and the culture of dread doesn't propagate like it does here. The poison is deep and the only way out is to leave them. You might be bound in your golden handcuffs while lashing out at those who don't have the privilege. Who are you raging at?

You aren't sticking it to the man. They don't care about you. Don't come in, they'll just fire you eventually and no one else will care either.

You're only hurting the people who would like to remain hybrid. That's it. You really think you are important enough that the EMT is crying at night because you're only coming to the office once a week?

"Unfair work policy". Are you 6? Life isn't fair. Going to the office for a job you agreed to go to the office for isn't unfair you silly child. Just get a remote job if you want to be remote, they're everywhere.

You mentioned the culture is gone but it's gone because of people like you. You aren't special, no matter how many times your mommy has told you that you are.

There really isn't a way to self-correct, as the things one can do as an individual is limited.

The culture is shattered. You're begging the people to bow to an unfair work policy, while being treated like dirt, just so it benefits some other people who have no say in your day or your pay. You're speaking from the place of fear but your fear is misplaced.

Secondly, there isn't an incentive to comply. Most would rather stick it to the man than comply, because people are sick of being treated like children and the org leadership not knowing how to handle itself or its own policies.

Yeah, not sure why you made a brand new thread just to say that you agree with the post. This makes me want to blow up the hybrid model by not showing up to the office just out of annoyance with this useless thread.
