Recruiting

Just heard that LSP recruiters are being cut down as well. Where do you see recruiting going from here on out with agent staffing?

@1buf+170F7N13 I know so many FSL's that have stated they don't want to recruit, they were hired to work with agents. If you knew how many FSL's don't actually know the process you would be surprised. On FDS that is a revolving door, many were hired that have zero recruiting, management, or insurance experience. They have hired FDS that were in education for Allstate, one was a admin assistant in previous role, another was a writer, and on and on. There were a few good hires, people that were prior agents, or prior recruiters and other good skills, guess what, they have left for other companies.

The new organizational structure will not have FSL's actively recruiting, they won't have time at all.

FDS and FSL’s can barely recruit agent let alone LSP’s. Looks like they’ve gotten rid of a lot of the tenured FSL’s who make a living on referrals rather than recruiting

It’s interesting to me these roles are cut but leadership in Director and Sr Managers with repetitive roles company wide were not.

I see the LSP recruiters that got cut are mad. Really, LRT can be cut as a whole and let the FDS and FSL do the work. Allstate cut too deep with ALL positions and departments nationwide. They will end up bringing ppl back.

Also, Indeed is full of postings because Allstate is posting. EAs probably aren't posting most of those. The good LSPs that work for good EAs don't leave. The ones who cycle through are recruited by Allstate and then find themselves over their heads, with EAs that don't have time to train them to conform to Allstate's strange technology and underwriting compared to the rest of the industry.

Considering LSPs are not employees of Allstate, I've never understood why Allstate employs recruiters for LSPs. Recruiting LSPs is a function of an agency owner. Allstate needn't be involved, except that they want to be in control of everything. LSP recruiter is literally something that can be 100% eliminated without any direct effect on insured experience.

The cut on LSP recruiters was more like 30%, they just found out today.

The recruiting team is being cut by 25%. I see Allstate agents in the future doing their own recruiting because Shapiro wants it to happen.

LSP's will continue to cycle through multiple agencies. The good ones will leave because they are rarely paid enough, and the bad ones will continue to be employed by multiple agents. Indeed is full of postings for LSP's

Well, it's not like there's any turnover in the LSP positions. They can probably just count on retention.
JK, it'll be a call center in India, or maybe prisoners.
