NOV earnings to be reported 2/6

Analysts estimate $.23 per share.

There is no way NOV will achieve this.

I would not be surprised if NOV books were massaged to improve earnings results.

You guys need to be optimistic and stop under estimating NOV capabilities. Otherwise feel free to join another company. NOV ended up beating analysts expectations with there 4th quarter results.

@1crv+1kZuAEzO When you mostly compete on hardware, that’s a recipe for tough competition. When it was tilted more towards offshore with its complexities, regulations, etc we were in great shape. Now that it’s more land focused with its lower requirements and higher cost competition its a much tougher environment. But there are pockets of NOV businesses that are perfectly pretty well in this new world.

Terms like headwinds, inflation, supply chain, Russian invasion, etc. etc. will be used to justify poor results.

NOV seems to struggle much more than most other products & services companies. The business model here needs to be modernized.
