Not sure if a person of non color would work with a ticketing app day and night.

Let’s make America Great Again! Increase H1B quota to 10x, or better yet, have no quota limit … let the Asian-American immigrants talent speak for itself. I guarantee you, locals won’t even be able to find union factory jobs, except for a few ~2-3%. I’m a Native American , son of the soil, and I welcome all immigrants to this land of opportunities.

"evil" is not from Michigan.
Do they have technical interviewer position at ICE for "Losers".
I will really look into this.

@1cwi...I know my comments will not go down well with you and others...just wondering if you think you guys are so talented then why don't you go back to your country and make its auto industry competitive. The truth is you guys are just cheap labors ready to get exploited for sake of money, afraid to speak up, no right to vote, looking for social validation from your friends and families back at home that you work in US , earn in$$ and have a house(even though living in segregated housing community) while at the same time hiding the truth that you guys do not enjoy the same rights as your wh!+e counterparts do. Aren't you getting tired of pretending and claming that everything good in this country is happening because of you. This fake good picture sends a wrong message to many other people back at home. I think that's enough for now.

Agree it is a broken system. My heart breaks for those who played fair and are skilled.

The problem we always struggled with were the explorers and cheaters.

There was the massive interview scandal @ Ford where the head hunters/contracting firms were paying people to do the video interviews and then someone else actually showed up for the job. You were like wait didn’t the guy we interviewed have crooked teeth and thick hair? Years into this scam Ford’s required clear full face videos. That lead to innovation in cheating - lip syncing and reading of answers someone was feeding the interviewee. All uncovered because the firm stiffed the paid interviewees and they complained to Ford asking for their money.

Then there was the ITEK scandal where a large group of H1Bs let in non-F workers every evening to do their coding jobs ( for which they did not have the requisite skills). They would work the night shift doing work with the F H1Bs cdsids. This all unraveled when they expanded and recruited friends on another continent to do their work - and Ford security was alerted by IT infrastructure that somehow these H1Bs were logging on from two different continents within an hour.

Then there is the ongoing lets only hire people just like us playing out. Not sure how that isn’t discrimination and how F doesn’t end up getting sued over this?

Without Asian H1Bs, this country would have lost the Automotive business to Asian OEMs back in 80s … get rid of local trash and hire more immigrants.

Everyone says H1B.. it's the L1 visa system where the slavery happens. Bigger, no quotas, no pay requirements.

We need to identify immigration officers that do H1B interviews and send them our stories and experience.
They need to know what goes on in real life....

H1-B visa is seriously flawed and exploited in both ways in the US. It's a rat race shouldn't exist in the first place

@stf
After working in, and seeing multiple companies being filled up with H1Bs from a certain country in south Asia, the only thing I can say is: "Don't let the door hit you on the way out"

I'm sure you are also up in flames when those people are openly nepotistic and prejudiced against those who are not their kind, right? The moment that one becomes a manager or has the ability to hire people, their entire village and extended family gets hires - is that right?

P.S.
I'm an immigrant too, and I firmly believe that H-1B employees are brought over to suppress wages and pit people against each other.
