Yea ECMO Orlando Is done. Mid July is last day and then laid off. Wells Fargo doesn’t care about their employees

I personally wouldn't sue for age discrimination. I'd be happy to accept a severance.
There are a lot of people like me out there.
If only we could volunteer for severance. If they really want to cut costs and headcount, that would be a quick and easy way to do it for sure.

Multiple companies seem to be doing this lately. People are assigned to a project for a period of time, then when it’s done everyone re-applies for a new one. Some get hired onto the new one and others don’t. It’s called employment on demand. Hopefully this isn’t the case - the company I came from was starting to do the same thing and it was turning into chaos.

Do the Orlando ECMO employees know they will be displaced at the end of the project?
I know someone who works in ECMO but not in Orlando. They have been assigned to work on a project for a different department. They have been given an end date for the project and are supposed to go back to ECMO once the project ends.
My friend is nervous about their job and doesn't know what to make of this new assignment. Right now, they are just doing as they are told and hoping for the best. They cannot afford to suddenly be out of a job.
I heard that the ECMO Orlando team was put in a project and they’re all going to be displaced when it’s completed.
I saw 23 friends displaced from Regional Services on Thursday. Most were very tenured and nearing retirement. Too bad they can’t sue for age discrimination. So much for going beyond the call of duty for years to be dumped for without notice. Let’s hope those Regional Managers who make the big bucks get paired down soon! This needs to serve as a notice for those left behind that Regional Services leadership doesn’t care for their own team members any longer.
