Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Pull your money

This is a call out to all who are leaving U.S. Bank. If you have accounts with them, pull them. Relocate your funds elsewhere. It's really the only recourse we have against this type of corporate bullying. Let everyone know what's going on and encourage them to pull their accounts as well.

Truist employee here visiting to commiserate with you folks and to momentarily forget the misery in our own house. I would QUICKLY and UNQUESTIONABLY remove Truist from any consideration for alternative banking purposes. Literally everything I am reading here can (and has) been said on the Truist board.

For reference feel free to visit our own very active page on the thelayoff or google Truist and BBB and revel in the glory of the 1.09 out of 5 stars.

TBH I have contemplated it and may even act on it. It may not make a dent in the large enterprises these banks are but it would certainly give me inner peace knowing I didn't help the "bad guys". Most definitely looking at Credit Unions.

Better than anything, pull your money from all banks. Get your hands on physical silver and gold.

Keep your U.S. Bank issued credit card balances at zero, available credit lines and personal lines of credit at zero, U.S. Bank employees are sought after customers at competitive institutions and community banks where you live. If U.S. Bank wants has no regard or concern for employees, the remaining employees should have a similar disdain and little regard for the bank's depository, credit and lending services, as noted, there are plenty of options. Your business will be more than welcome at your local community bank, credit union or competitive bank along the lines of Key Bank, PNC, Regions or Truist. Try it, you'll like it.

Funny you should post this. I've been looking at FDIC-insured banks that are not USB main competitors (e.g., BAC, WF, etc). I figured why move accounts from USB to another large bank also engaging in the same behaviors. You only have to read those threads also and see the commonalities.
