That is my observation. It seems to me that people are leaving less than a few months ago. Is it that all those who intended to leave are already gone or is the market cooling down a little? The third option is that this is a temporary calm before the mass exodus continues?
If one of my colleagues leaves, I will also be forced to leave because I do not intend to do any additional work.

Interest rate did increase for 2Q, but only for segment 1, so impact is only 2% of Lump Sum from 1Q22 to 2Q22.
If the segment 2 interest rate increases 3Q22, then you will see a much bigger impact to the LS.
Not sure 2% impact will motivate many people to jump, but it must get tip the scales for a few.
It seems that resignations slowed down at end of year, most likely for the holidays and to get 2022 vacation pay.
I expect resignations to increase late Jan to end March, especially if the Jan and Feb Lump Sum interest rates increase as predicted.

Praising the pay rises didn’t work out too well for you so now you’re trying the line with “you’re all a bunch of whiners?”. Now that will work great for you.
Are you a paid troll or the angry delusional manager who trolls the other threads to make himself look good?
I have been working at other company before joining EM. But I have decided to leave after few years. Seems like there are a lot of winers. No increase - complaint. Increase - Complaint. There are so many spoiled brats in the company. You complaint about your managers. Guess what - you are reflection of the bad managers. Bad managers only created bad workers.
@4iut+1eDNfyFf
When you post managerial BS like “people are happy with their pay rises” - which are on average half of last years’ inflation - you should not post it repeatedly on two or three different threads. It makes it very obvious and therefore completely useless - but that’s what management does.
Believed people are happy with the 2022 salary communication. Hence the slow down in attrition. Furthermore see less post on exxodus on LI now or last day post...
This is the fault of the Bottom 8%.
2 resignations in my EMIT group this week
@3yux+1eDNfyFf
I can see that, since this year they took away the continuous vacation and made it harder againg to get approval for carryover. Heard it was because so many people had so many days due to no travel in 2020 with covid and got paid for them with pip and layoffs.
HR should give people raises that match inflation and makes up for all the sh-t we have to deal with. Maybe hand out stock bonuses that vest if you don’t quit this year, lol
More leaving Clinton. 2 more from the MTS side. Technicians are looking to leave. There 2 with offers and another 2 that had a second interview. It is so bad they are going to start forcing ppl to do the work of others. Great way to run a company. Management is clueless. They blame the ones who actually work for the pi-s poor moral. February can not come fast enough. Hopefully, the reorganization will bring a positive change. I don't it bc Brian is a micro manager.
Man, I have a feeling HR will close the loophole very quickly....
I bet the only learning HR have from this attrition wave is to take away the benefit of the full vacation at the start of the year……they just hate the fact that people have all of the vacation and then resign
Slowed down a little for the holidays. Will pick back up this week. Seeing it at Baytown. People were waiting to get their vacation.
I’ve heard that if you are on the payroll December 31, then you get next year’s allotment.
@2qoo+1eDNfyFf US employees get their whole year’s allotment on January 1st.
woah woah.. how does vacation entitlement work? i thought you were only allotted a prorated amount based on how many months youve worked this year?
Apparently not when I look at LinkedIn this week. Too many quitting and those in the cube meme pictures seem happy.
One person in my workgroup got the PIP axe on Monday. They apparently didn’t take the carrot and tried to stick it out. Also had 2 others that I know at other locations that put in their 2 weeks notice. I don’t think we are slowing down just yet.
@1ejk+1eDNfyFf Which group at BTC?
2 people resigned today in my team at BTC
Couple of high fliers in finance quit this week. Lots of people just waited for the 2022 vacation entitlements and then turned in notice
It is the calm before the storm... the deep breath before the plunge... the tranquility before the chaos. Brace yourselves, more attrition is coming.
Those with the ability to leave, left.
Based on people I’ve talked to, it’s the third. People paused at the end of the year so they could claim 2022 vacation entitlements which could be an extra paycheck or two for doing nothing.
Are you blind? what dept are you in? Must be some where no one cares about
