Seems like attrition has skyrocketed this year, although not surprising after the messy layoffs, poor leadership, and toxic culture. I'm sure it varies by department/region, but anyone know what the current attrition rate is? Does management think it's a problem, or is there still the perception that anyone who left "wasn't a good fit anyway."
I guess that's one way to meet headcount targets, but the problem is the wrong people are leaving. At the going rate, it seems like the younger staff are leaving in droves, many mid-career ones are getting PIPed, so the only thing left will be those coasting to retirement, and the executives who have been chugging the "We Are ExxonMobil" kool-aid.
