Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

I am really sad about what is going on right now in HR. Hope RM and her lieutenants will address the situation before it’ gets worse. I am a client of HR and it is quite obvious that my HR BP is not happy with her supervisor, her workload, etc. It’s sad that HR helps the business but they can’t help themselves.

I heard nothing in the meeting as I was awestruck over that stone-cold fox reading the questions.

@1fcy Will def not miss the pictures of the roses. Perhaps she finally got something to treat that severe case of tone deafness.

Anyone remember the HR Town Hall where she was going on about how she just returned from a nice vacation and felt so refreshed? That same session there was much discussion on Pigeonhole about HR employee burnout and how everyone is overwhelmed and under-resourced. But at least RM got the R&R she needed.

Another canned response: "We are making great strides in our quest to be a more diverse and inclusive workplace." After all the backlash last year, I don't think we'll hear about her daughter's unused prom dress, or her mother's roses.

Why does anyone waste their time with town halls? I haven’t listened to one in probably 8 years.

Is this a layoffs topic? I come here for layoff info and it always looks like a teenage chat group meets here who have no other social media outlet.

Be kind, people. If she prefers canned questions, then, it’s her prerogative, it’s her town hall.

“It’s all in just your head. You asked for this. It’s your fault that you feel this way. I am sorry you think that we have wronged you.. Change your mindset and stop acting like a victim!”

It will be more change your mindset and forget all the issues causing morale to be in the dumpster and a lot of frustration.
