Are you more frustrated with Fiserv as it is today, or are you more sad that this is not the same company it used to be in the sense that it used to be really nice to work here?
I often wonder where it all went downhill and whether it had to be like this...

Editorial comment - do not ever trust word on a new office assignment out of state and a guarantee of job. Aon did that years ago with a move to Houston and management made assurances that this city was a permanent location. So up they hauled in the moving trucks and staff moved. A year later - nope, sorry, location closing. Fiserv could be doing the same magic here. Staff is still bitter about that duplicity.
That's what I'm afraid of. Strategically it wouldn't make sense to move into one of the smaller "secondary" locations. If I was going to relocate I would rather go to NJ/GA
This sounds like a parody account. Moving humans around America to work in offices to be on the phone with India. Brilliant!!!!!
Can you imagine actually relocating and then getting fired More reductions will continue as the stock tanks. So you’d be in a location without connections and no job. Hard pass
I have to agree, it is a little bit of both. I just have to remember my sphere of influence, and if i don't like where i'm at. I can easily find a new place to work. Lots of opportunity out there for someone willing to look for it. I'm happy for my friends at Fiserv are leaving and one of my friends just started a new position at a better company with all the benefits she had before Frank stripped them away. There are better companies out there.
I mean, why would you bust your @$$ for a company that makes you do twice the work and pays you less than industry. The CEO is a greedy ba----d, and doesn't care about the people that make him look good.
On the positive side, there is a lot of work out there right now. A lot of companies are scrambling for new talent. And a good portion are WFH.
For me it’s a bit of both, it makes me sick thinking about “is today they day?” when it comes to seeing if I’ll be asked to relocate or take a severance. I really enjoy my job and the people I work with, but I’m remote due to office closure. Concerned for the clients and trying to understand how they will train new people within a few months to take over roles that people have held for years (15+ for some people). Our training is terrible and it will not be a smooth “transition” for anyone. Clients will suffer, and that makes me wonder “will Frank even care about that?”. I expect a “check in” meeting sometime this week. Refreshing my resume tonight.
