dbMotion development team took a major hit this week. Already impacted on the implementation side, only going to get worse since they haven't had sales in years.

Unfortunately layoffs are needed to survive. The good thing is, those people who got layoff, are most management people such as directors, managers and one or two in the technical dept. The directors and managers are highly paid (200k+ per annually with stock options). I don't see any work delivery issues with the layoff. Best of luck to everyone.

Do you receive package based on your original salary or the one after TEMP paycut?

To who asked for suggestions to get laid off:
Just have to give Allscripts endless hours of dedication (not to mention several years too)... Put your work above all else in your life... CARE about the work you’re doing... Turn your head the other way when less competent people are promoted over you... and to add to that last requirement- be recognized by your peers as one of the most knowledgeable, capable and hardworking players on the team. It’s as simple as that! Do all that and you’ll get your lay-off package!!

Such a drama today. I wish they have town hall everyday. It will be my favorite talk show to listen to these clowns lying and trying to cover up their incapability.

1) 3 years no Cashflow
2) Bought Netsmart and Paragon in this 3 yr time period
3) Hiring people in past 2 years.

You dint need to be a Finance or CEO mind , but this sequence dost make any sense

“ Allscripts wins #1 ambulatory #EHR vendor award for practices with 26-99 physicians for 7th consecutive year by Black Book Market Research LLC. We also won #1 Practice Management Solution award for practices with 10-49 physicians for 2020”

The company’s strategy is to literally fire senior positions and backfill with either India, college hire or not backfill are all. Not sure why anyone mid or senior level would stick around this place. That puts a serious target on your head at AHS. Go somewhere that respects you!

They have shot Allscripts in the foot and I see now way they can stand back up. Just a question of time when the big ship sinks. Bye bye Allscripts, the coffin is getting ready :-(

The longer you were there, the more you made and so they chopped those first. I know someone that started 6 months ago...they are still there, but someone in the same poistion that was there much longer and made more was let go.

Net Income (2.23M) (25.65M) (226.81M) (31.4M) (182.18M), last five years all in the red. Very suspect.

Is the situation bad enough to file chapter 11? Not sure if that what was conveyed in the All Hands but one never knows how to read these meetings anymore. Can they approach the federal Govt for help? I know Glen Turner has contacts in the White House. PB needs to quit ASAP

You will get nothing if they file bankruptcy. The owned salary to employees and creditors take higher priority than the severance package.
