Today we were told that commission as we know it is gone. Leaders were unable to say how or when this will take effect. I’ve heard many different scenario. One being an average of last years commission added to hourly. The next is group commission. And of course there is the lay-off that I suspect is coming. Does anyone have any SOLID FACTS

They have been saying they will get rid of commission for the last 10 plus years surprised it took them this long.

Hey, hey. So I hear some crying? Who is crying?
For all the low life losers saying “all you reps who made 3-4K a month, we know how you did it” wtf are you talking about? We busted our a– to get that 3-4K commission check every month, you sound like a pathetic hater and you must be one of those bottom of the barrel employees who just skate by every year. Get the f— outta here you squib a– b–ch. Don’t be jealous of others success bc you’re a low life sub par employee. Hating a– mad bc his highest commission check is 2k
details coming soon
@2B1ask1........The only problem with this major change is that it is only for corporate Verizon stores which as you know is a small footprint in retail. I know several owners and management in the reseller markets that have no plans on changing how they pay employees. Verizon is obviously counting on the resellers to continue to do the dirty work. In any event one piece of advice I would give you is to be more empathetic to your coworkers during this time of change.

There are many ways to look at this organizational shift. Being with the company for 10+ years, I have witnessed many changes. Some good, some, not so much.
I believe this to be a positive change. We will be more customer centric. No longer will we have to find inventive ways to make target. We will be able to focus on what’s right for the customer.
For those who were constantly 3-4K checks, we all know how you did it. Your teammates often had to deal with your escalations. Will you make less money? Yup. I got some advice, find a different career. The time of box pushers and slammers is finally coming to a end.
Although I know these changes will always benefit Verizon in the long run. I am looking forward to having a better base pay and not relying on my commission as much.
Did I hear correctly about Customer Experience STI’s coming back?
You must of been the same person to post and respond. They said they are going to take your target commission and put it with your hourly. But you will find out tomorrow about this. Or watch up to speed again...
Yeah your hourly will be made of your last years average commission %. But it won’t be exact. Like if last year you hit 125%...your hourly will be made up for more like 115%. In addition it’ll be 80% hourly 20% team commission . Zero individual targets
