Does anyone know why someone from GHR Retirement would be calling? Nowhere near the retirement age or have done any movements with it

OP, please provide an update. Possibility is that they are working another portion of GHR while people shuffling is happening in their group.
for whom the bells tolls
I want to retire now but my work history is nowhere near the 35 year mark.
"According to the Social Security Administration, to maximize your Social Security benefit amount, you need to work for at least 35 years, as the calculation for your benefit is based on your highest 35 years of earnings; if you work less than 35 years, your benefit will be lower due to "zero" earnings being factored in for the missing years"

Oh wild i did not think to do that..
Maybe answer the call and find out.
@xlh+1vYSBoS6 raises an excellent point! So often now, scammers get an employee phone number and simply add one to try every conceivably related number. (on my floor we all have the same number just counting upwards)
if it is from in-house, then probably a Sales Call from Retirement Services trying to bump up their numbers ahead of year end.
That LOB is under considerable pressure. Not sure why as business should be BO-M-ing for that area. (pun intended) ;-D
Still bizarre though. My crew and I on the cusp of retirement and they've never called any of us proactively, They could probably sell a lot of services into us, but have not even tried.
They called once and haven’t called again. I figured If it was important they would call again or send an email. I looked up the person that left a vm and the department is retirement services. But i am not near 55 either lol
Retirement age can be 55 if you were a heavy saver. You can draw on 401k without penalty at 55 (if you retire from the company where the account is held). Search IRS rule of 55.
Could be a scam. Ask them to send you an email.
Intriguing... no idea, but def curious. This is a new one!
They're on my list to call after the Feb bonus payout.
I would LOVE for them to call and offer me a package for this holiday season.
