D*mb... just plain Du@b. It's like your leadership is trying to insult your intelligence...but you're not getting the joke. Hahahahahahaahahaha
Leave. Better yourself. Do real work. Hon leadership is trash. Especially Aero Defense plant 4 CW. If you're in this building...and a manager... on the 2nd floor... 70% chance you are bottom of the barrel.

@1hen+1p9RKNz1 Yep, hit me hard in the face when a few months after joining I suddenly realized this. I have only been here a year and it has been the worst of my life, I start a new job next month.
I strongly believe in hard work, integrity and passion for your craft, i.e. the complete opposite of Honeywell. YOU CAN NOT DO GOOD WORK HERE I AM OUT!

The bulk of the management are just there for a free ride, adopting a "fake it till you make it" philosophy. Eventually organizations that harbour this type of parasite reach a critical point and implode.

I'm lucky if I don't have meetings booked all day. If I don't, I end up using the time to catch up on work.

Can you imagine if shareholders and customers knew that entire departments and businesses were expected to take 12 days off every year to do some lame a-s Accelerator sh-t? 1.15 million days a year supposedly dedicated to learning some basic business concept.

Should rebrand that “no customer Thursday”
Of course then it is just like every other day.

Wasn’t the No Meeting Thursdays conjured during Mike Madsen’s days? He’s gone therefore, so does his legacy.

They want growth day but then complain about billability. Look at the big picture peoples (management). Customers do not give a cr@p about growth. If you did deep, "Growth Day" is probably related to some ESG initiative somewhere.

I can't get people to stop scheduling meetings outside of my working hours let alone a whole day every month.

If you are near retirement, practice it. If you are not, work on your resume. Either way, you will need it.

I look at the "My Growth Day" as a day to practice retirement. Got only a few years and I figure that more practice is best for my Future Shaping.

Our director sets us tasks (internal initiatives) for 'growth' day that are linked to his HPD, he thinks we do not realize. We hate the snaky guy.
