Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Trying to make the wheel "Rounder"

When this company was around 1500 employees it was one of the greatest companies I had every worked for. Jim Young was an amazing COO who truly focused on knowing all people within the company and genuinely cared about it. We all had a voice and all knew how to create "Long term recurring revenue" and were focused on creating shareholder value. In turn Crown Treated us all as Humans and understood the life goals that we all have. When Jay Brown was elevated to CEO the company lost all sight of what got them there in the first place. He methodically removed the cultural cornerstones of the company and brought in the Storm Troopers one by one. The B3's went out the window and now PURPLE runs the show. To watch a company that was poised to be the premier Neutral provider turn into one of the worst places to work with or work at has been nothing short of disgusting. CEO through VP level need to go, its time for a rebuild. The continues firing of the folks that built this company while allowing the highest paid to remain over and over again will be their downfall. Wondering how long the board puts up with the spin that all telecom is down, although they follow the same-ish patterns all other similar company's are still out preforming in several areas.

From 2013-2017ish (whenever they cut the kick off and mid year meetings) Crown was amazing to work for. All downhill from there

in 2018 the move package from Huntington to San Diego was 12k, with 10 k just to cover MISC. This is a vast contrast.

Track a few of the people that you know left Crown or were downsized. Everyone elevated, Hopefully you all see that there is life outside of this sinking ship. Being held hostage to the golden handcuffs and the feeling that Crown will One Day be the company you were hired to work for again is ludicrous. I wish you all the best of luck and understand the loyalty that we all had for each other. This is a big industry and you all have amazing talents, unfortunately it doesn't matter to Crown at this point. The people who remain are the button pushing Yes Ma'mm/ No Ma'mm, Yes Sir, No Sir folks. What made this company great in the beginning was being able to have a voice. If the CM saw something that wasn't working it was heard. Now only the VP's make the calls who have no idea what the pulse of the market is. It will burn and the late adopters to that will be left holding the bag.

Ate people really arguing this? Houston is know for its black and Mexican population and Pittsburgh is know for its lack of diversity. I don't live near either but I'm not sure why this is being debated here.

Pittsburgh, the largest such metro, is 84.9 percent White, according to the Census Bureau’s 2016-2020 American Community Survey.

Bet my RSUs this poster also talks about how the NBA was better when he was younger, that football players used to be tough and can hit the quarterback and that these kids are just on their phones. When he was their age he was out till the street lights went on.

@ddc+1poXOnmd Actually, I feel like this post is right. I have been at Crown for 10 years and seen a lot of change and business decisions made. But recent events have really made me feel like just a number on a spreadsheet that "shareholders" are redlining.
