Does 'Chief Growth Officer' address ED problems? Well, seems to me he's more of a Chief Limp Officer.
What did he do? He’s terribly abusive. In his eyes, everyone is worthless. He derives great job from the misery of people who work for him. That’s no hyperbole

If he screams at you or does anything else against the company's values, report him. Although, the way they handle their downsizing makes it clear that senior management doesn't care about "mutual respect and professional treatment ".

My manager reports to Akash and I’ve never noticed anything amiss about His behavior. He expects a lot of his organization; it’s small and has a big impact on clients, but I’ve had no problems with him and haven’t heard of any issues either. Yet I see this type of post come up every couple months talking about how he is a terrible guy, treats people poorly, etc. I’m curious how anyone would know this given that his group is small and pretty senior, he doesn’t speak much at town halls, and doesn’t have much face time with the broader org outside of Corporate Strategy, the client management teams, and the marketing and comms orgs. I just don’t understand how seemingly so many people at the bank feel this way about the guy, and I somehow have never seen it.

What does or did he do that is so bad? Fortunately I am not in any of his circles and would love to hear.
It's interesting how the employees get rated by their performance. That guy's performance AND his unacceptable behavor warrants his being shown the door!
If I were in charge, I'd fire his a_s on the spot!
It would take some sort of scandal or something for that guy to get axed. When CS went to WF, there was hope that he'd recruit AS to go there too, but that didn't happen. Many execs behave horribly and nothing happens to them.
