Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Back to the office

Been told we are going back to office, in EMEA, and flexibility isn't really an option, after working from home for a year and a half I really like it tbh
Just feels like such a slap in the face after the leadership and managers have been saving "We will listen to you all, we hear you! You want some flexibility! Come back in 5 days a week, and be grateful if you get any wfh." Seriously Fiserv? Get with the times. You are actually going to lose SO many people if you go down this route.

All you complainers... this was supposed to be a 2 week thing... you worked in the office before and now it’s time to put on your big kid pants and go back to the office. Miserable bunch of pathetic whining complainers! DO YOUR JOB! You want to keep getting paid to sit home watching tv all day or sitting outside. Well guess what... the company is sick of paying for your lack of work!

Who is this "competitor" that I see referenced in some posts as the golden place to work? Actually curious.

@2tby Trying so hard to be relevant and keep your little role in HR? Don't worry, I won't be quitting, but I bet you'll be replaced soon if you can't regain control of Fiserv's online image. Its deteriorating faster than your market share.

are the execs renting a summer home on the shore? The true story of seven co-workers picked to live in a house, work together and have their lives taped to find out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real. TM and FB are still into young ho----s right? I remember years ago they had a few at a 'leadership conference'.

Hilarious, you wouldn’t be a very good sleuth, the temporary office he is in everyday does have a fire[lace, there are no pictures and unlike you he’s been there everyday since June 1, working to make Fiserv a better place! Take that @1qua and stuff it! And don’t give up your day job...

@1iuh - I have been on several calls this month with the head of HR and he is definitely NOT in a Fiserv office...Unless his Fiserv office has a fireplace and mantle with what appear to be family pictures? He is working from home, just like the other c-suite. I know because I have been on calls with all of them this month. Sorry but I just blew up your lies!

HR never used the statement ‘see the whites of someone’s eyes’

No but Jeff and Frank have and HR works for them, not us.

So its the same thing. Yet more bad faith arguments from HR lackeys...

HR never used the statement ‘see the whites of someone’s eyes’, another blatant attempt by visitors of this site to try and disparage our great company. Sorry your sad attempts don’t pass the smell test because they aren’t true plain and simple...sorry ex Fiserv disgruntled loser...

The COVID training is great. HR states that they want everyone back in the office to "see the whites of each others' eyes" and yet in the training they say "You will come back in but you can't really work closely together with anyone due to risk of spread. If you violate any of these policies then you could be terminated." Nice job applying critical thinking, HR. This company really is run by clowns. I'm laughing like a maniac right now as I post the cold hard truth about Fiserv all over the web.

No one has even challenged the fact that the head of HR is and will continue working from home thru next year?!? I guess its flexibility for FB and his cronies but back to get Covid-Delta-Plus for the rank and file.

Yep. Our competitors, especially the bigger one, is fully on board with WFH as a perm option.

Maybe losing people is the point?

Fiserv carrs about their bottomline and not their people.

HR sends out a survey and everyone responds with "we like WFH and would like to continue with it." But HR throws in a silly question such as "Do you like Fiserv?" and only reports results on that to make it look like they are listening. They pull the same stunt on the "Your Voice" survey. Classic trick used by incompetent regimes.

I have noticed that HR tends to copy whatever JPMorgan Chase & Co. are doing. Apparently Fiserv leadership are unable to come up with their own policies.

Not true company has gone out of its way to provide flexibility and supports flexibility...what you want is continued work from home which is not flexibility.
