"If your company is doing a restructuring, complete with write-offs and layoffs – you need to file a Form 8-K under Item 2.05 with the SEC within 4 business days."

Not sure of the layoff % to trigger this and I believe, we may get an email from Jeff if they numbers are high (similar to Feb). Let's see whether the numbers are between 6 to 15% as predicted/guaranteed by the posters.

I think they are getting around the WARN notice due to so many workers classified as "remote".

I think they get around the WARN Act by giving two months of severance. That is the standard warning period for the Act. They notify when it happens so they can get max productivity until the end.

So it's going to be lower than the 5% in Feb? Some people are saying it's 8-10%

@1jnz+1nU6u9BF The WARN act is US labor law.

Isn't WARN just needed in California?

Nope. This one will be just shy of the numbers that trigger warn act. You'll just start hearing the riple effect within. Numerous colleagues or names you know enacting the green circle on LinkedIn. Announcement level layoffs are always in Feb at beginning of physical. August is the mid-year they keep just short of being required to acknowledge publicly.
