@1jyo+1jpz8cTl Yep correct, we can “ volunteer for consideration”. Then someone (probably director) will decide if you are in or out. I suppose if accepted this entitles us to unemployment?

I have not heard what’s in the package yet.

A retiree here — so it’s an ISP only (no sweetened VSP or ERP deals), but depending on department circumstances you may be able to volunteer for the involuntary separation program?

What comes as part of the ISP?

The lack of an ERP is... disturbing. Honestly, I've been looking forward to ERP for a while, and I've always thought - given how regular layoff, VSP, and ERPs come around - that I would simply wait for the next ERP to retire.

Guess I'm stuck another several years until the next layoff, unless I can manage to get myself 'volunteered'.

I actually couldn’t tell who it will be approved (or not approved) by. Not clear.

They said no Vsp, no enhanced retirement. If your group is doing layoffs, you can let your manager know if you want to be considered… not guaranteed.. and every business unit is doing something different
