What I'm hearing, is that you have to be 1) Fully vaccinated, and 2) Up-to-date on all available booster shots you're eligible for. If you don't fit into these two categories, you are not welcomed back into the office - UNLESS you are a "Critical" employee, in which you may be allowed to remain in-office without vaccines and boosters, subject to special testing and masking requirements. No mention yet of firing unvaxxed or unboosted employees. But if it comes to that, which it could, supposedly you will be given sufficient time to get all needed jabs before your jobs are terminated. Vaccinations and boosters are your choice and no one else's. Make the best choice for yourself. Don't let anyone else tell you what you should do.

No, you won't be welcomed into the office. I think that very soon being fully vaccinated, including Booster in certain jurisdictions, will become a condition of employement. I encourage you to get vaccinated. Not for BNYM... for your own health and wellbeing.
I got some BS story from my boss how they don't know why your badge was deactivated as it could be for a number of reasons. Basically talking points to cover their a** for just as you state, providing my medical and religious data to others.
Pretty sad how everyone at this place is out for themselves...... towing the company line trying to get their crumb.

I’d like to know how we cannot ask your vax status which we shouldn’t be able to cause it’s nobody’s business, yet the bank requires us to complete a survey asking for your details and threatened corrective action if you didn’t answer and then are telling our status to everyone by not allowing people in the buildings . Please make it make sense
They're making managers communicate to associates that their access badges will be denied access. I wonder what happens next 🤔?

As an essential in-office worker these past 2 years, it was so nice to not have hardly anyone in the building. It is a bummer seeing a fair amount of people back. Can they stay at home? I do not miss all the phoniness and preening.
Even first graders know that calling other people names does not win the argument, it’s just rude. And here gets deleted as well.
I look forward to being terminated on the 7th.

Badges to the bldg are shut off, but all other access remains. No one is fired for being unvax'd.... at least not yet
Badges for unvaccinated will be deactivated on March 1st.
Such a joke. We’re going back because other surrounding banks did yet other banks also moved to full time wfh. And we “collaborate” better they claim yet as a mgr I see zero difference in office or out
They literally just said in a meeting today they do not care about concerns. The bank has decided you will go back and if you don’t want to find a job or position in the bank that allows wfh
HR said they are holding off on determining whether to approve my exemption for now as they continue to evaluate whether the vax will be a condition of employment. So, for now, continue to work remotely

I thought they were firing ppl that aren’t vaccinated?
Since everything is being lifted the mandates need to be as well
